A few corncerned residents have taken the initiative of starting a neighbourhood watch in San Marina which is in the process of being registered with the authorities.

They had a Bring and Braai at the clubhouse on the 1 November 2008. It was well attended and a brief speech was given by Mr. Peter Elrick. He mentioned a quite a few things that was relevant. One being that if you go away let your neighbour know and make sure they have contact numbers for yourself.

We need more people who are prepared to patrol the streets at night in order for the watch to succeed.
