Chairman’s report
The annual Easter Egg Hunt was a great success. Thanks so much to all the members who supported the event and made it so much fun.
If you wish to hire the hall or have a braai at the Club, please call Amanda or Sydney on 083 730 4970 or see our website for details.
To all Members: please remember that fees are due in advance, so make sure you settle any outstanding amounts as soon as possible. Paid-up members will be able to join in the excitement as we will be showing the Super 14 and the Soccer World Cup games at the Club.
Statements queries must go to The Accountants at Vivid Accounting: email carol@bugan.com. If your details have changed, please fill in the slip and put it in the club post box. Thank you.
We would like to be able to email as many newsletters and Statements as possible, so please send your email addresses to chairman@sanmarina.co.za.
We have a new Committee. The first meeting to confirm who holds which portfolio will be held next week; we will post that information as soon as possible. We have space for volunteers if you are interested. Please pop a note in the Post Box.
The Committee would like to extend a special thank you to Peter Elrick in Cormorant Road who has been taking care of the pool for all of us. I’m sure you’ll agree that he is doing a sterling job. Thank you Peter.
Remember to please report any criminal activity to Heidi Vanneck at heidi@mastermaths.co.za, or put a note in the San Marina Clubhouse letterbox, marked “Security”.
Every Sunday the Club is open to all residents to attend a Spiritual Upliftment session between 09h30 and 10h30.
Everybody is welcome, so please join us this week.
The yellow bag project is one way you can be part of the solution to some of the environmental problems of our beautiful planet. Please put your paper, cardboard, washed plastic bottles and tins, washed yoghurt containers and glass in a yellow bag next to your wheelie-bin on a Monday.
Extra bags can be obtained at the Marina da Gama office in Eastlake Village Centre.
As was the policy last year the Club remains locked during the week due to vandalism. If you would like a key, please contact chairman@sanmarina.co.za so you can have access during the week.
KEYHOLDERS, PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN LOCK UP BEHIND YOU DURING THE WEEK, OTHERWISE THE SECURITY IS COMPROMISED.
If you are planning to sell your house, please ask your estate agent to contact the club as you will need a waiver from the committee to confirm that you are a paid-up member before you can sell.
Please come and enjoy the facilities more often.
